Regular servicing plays a vital role in ensuring your hot tub runs smoothly. It provides peace of mind, knowing that your spa has been professionally cleaned, and every working aspect has been inspected and function-checked for optimal performance.
As a general guideline, we recommend having your Hot Tub serviced after it reaches at least two years of age, although many customers opt for servicing sooner for peace of mind. Following this initial period, we strongly recommend our Spafix Once full annual clean and maintenance service every year or every other year as a minimum. This premier service option reflects our commitment to exceptional performance, so why settle for anything less?

Routine Maintenance
Professional cleaning of your spa helps prevent the build-up of harmful biofilm in the pipework over time. Our Spafix Easyfresh service offers regular quarterly cleaning, draining, and refilling, with more frequent visits available if desired. During this service, we also clean your cover and filters and replenish your chemicals. It’s the perfect solution for busy individuals who struggle to find time for hot tub maintenance.
Additionally, we provide the Spafix Start service, which is ideal for spring openings when the spa has been left empty or without water for an extended period. It covers all the aspects of our Spafix Once service, but we recommend re-draining and refilling a few weeks after recommissioning for optimal results. Whenever possible, we advise having the Hot Tub full upon our arrival, even if it’s not switched on, so that we can provide a comprehensive Spafix Once service instead.
As the season comes to an end, many of our customers continue to enjoy their Hot Tubs during the winter months. Bathing in 38°C of water and indulging in a relaxing hydrotherapy massage is a fantastic way to de-stress and beat the winter blues. For those who prefer not to brave the cold and rain, we offer our winter Spafix Hibernate service. This involves draining, vacuuming, and cleaning all the pipes, ensuring proper decommissioning for the winter. This is essential to prevent freezing pipe conditions that can lead to cracks in the plumbing, spa shell, or components.

| Biofilm remover added to water and shock dose After a long period of heavy use, your hot tub will build up a layer of dirt and fat that will sit in the pipework unnoticed (the parts you don’t see). This product helps to clean inside the pipework. | |||||||
| Filters put into soak in cleaning solution Older filters may need to be replaced and are available at an additional cost. | |||||||
| Every jet checked and cleaned This will help to regain optimum performance level. Every effort is made to clear each individual water jet of grit and dirt and to ensure that they can be moved freely and are as close to original performance level as possible. (weak /brittle jets may be left to avoid additional costs) | |||||||
| Full maintenance and performance check All pumps, blowers, and other major components are electronically measured for performance and each component is inspected for wear and tear. We also listen for abnormal noise and inspect that they are still water tight. | |||||||
| Pipework and glue-joint inspection This ensures there are no leaks, kinks, or bends in the pipework. | |||||||
| Empty, clean, rinse down, and vacuum out the spa This also includes vacuuming out the cabinet inspection area. | |||||||
| Make notes of suggested repairs Components, plumbing fittings, and so on are additional to the service cost. If repair work is likely to exceed one hour then additional labour charges may be applicable. If major work is required then we may need to visit again at a later date. All works subject to customer approval. | |||||||

| Clean and re-fit the cover We apply a silicone based cleaner that rejuvenates your cover vinyl skin and creates a UV and water barrier. For Spafix Hibernate the locks are put on if fitted. | |||||||
| Drain water from components We remove the inspection panel and drain all water from components, pipework, and most importantly the heater. | |||||||
| Filters rinsed then left to dry in dry storage Older filters may need to be replaced and are available at an additional cost. | |||||||
| Leave isolator switch in off position The hot tub is then left to hibernate for the winter. |
